Terry has worked in the plumbing and heating industry for over 25 years. He began his career in home maintenance, carrying out a wide range of handyman tasks including fitting shelves, hanging doors and mirrors, painting walls and ceilings, and undertaking general plumbing work.

He later decided to specialise in plumbing and heating, installing bathrooms, kitchens, boilers, and central heating systems. This led to the formation of HPR, which continues to operate today.

Working alongside John, the business grew steadily before John eventually retired, leaving Terry to take over the company. Terry then focused on the more technical aspects of the domestic heating industry, specialising in fault finding, servicing, and repairs.

Today, HPR continues to provide heating and plumbing services through HPR – Cambridgeshire. Alongside this, Terry is looking to branch out into teaching basic DIY skills to people who have an enthusiasm for carrying out certain jobs themselves and would like to gain the confidence and knowledge to do so safely and correctly.

After more than 25 years in the trade, Terry is now keen to pass on his knowledge and experience by teaching practical DIY skills to people who want to tackle home projects themselves with confidence
